The parachutists wall in Mauthausen quarry

The Fallschirmspringerwand, the tragic rock wall in Mauthausen quarry from which the SS threw prisoners into the void, cynically calling them "parachutists". The information panels at the foot of the wall now commemorate this atrocity. Nature has covered this place of death with greenery, but memory persists through the commemorative monuments.
