Reconstruction of a mine gallery in the Bois du Cazier museum in Marcinelle

This reconstruction is part of the museum tour commemorating the tragedy of August 8, 1956, when a fire in the shaft caused the death of 262 miners, including 136 Italians who had emigrated to Belgium under the 1946 coal agreements.
