A commemorative art installation located along the banks of the Danube in Vukovar. The work consists of a series of concrete slabs arranged in sequence and progressively tilted, like houses collapsing one after another, symbolizing the systematic devastation of the city during the siege. In the background, the Danube River flows placidly, recalling how Vukovar was the last European city to be besieged in the 20th century. A church bell tower visible in the distance completes this scene of memory and reflection on the tragedy of war in the Balkans.
