The wounds of Vukovar hospital

A corridor at Vukovar hospital still shows signs of the 1991 bombardments. The peeling walls, exposed pipes and damaged tiles have been preserved as testimony. Period photographs on the walls document daily life during the siege, when over 400 patients and refugees crowded into the basement.
