A V-2 engine at Mittelbau-Dora complex

An original V-2 rocket engine, rusted by time, displayed in the underground tunnels of Mittelbau-Dora. This propulsion unit was assembled by camp prisoners under slave conditions. The V-2 rockets, the first ballistic weapons in history, were responsible for thousands of civilian deaths, but their human cost in production was even higher.
