Faele Giusti Arch, Acquaviva delle Fonti

The "Faele Giusti" arch nestled between buildings that show both decay and renewal. On one side, a freshly plastered facade stands with a stark pale pink, while on the other, an older structure flaunts its peeling wall, exposing the traces of time. The blue-gray door, with wrought-iron ornaments, closes one property and contrasts its solidity with the fragile little window above the arch. The stone floor, sporadically patched with asphalt, reflects the passage of time and shows a disharmonious mixture of historic elements and attempts at modern repair, highlighting the challenge of maintaining authenticity in a constantly changing urban environment.
