In the middle of the path of the walls there is a passage that connects the Lungomare Imperatore Augusto with the area of ??the Basilica of San Nicola. The basilica as well as the bell towers and the tall buildings of the old city stand out on the Wall contributing to the creation of a well-defined skyline of the old city.
