One of the five gates of the fortified historic center of Bitonto, the Baresana gate gate dates back to the 16th century. Above the architrave was originally the emblem of the city which was then replaced by the coat of arms of the House of Savoy. A statue of the Immaculate Conception is located on the space of the twentieth century clock.
