Mother Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Piazza Aldo Moro, Cassano delle Murge BA

The church dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta in the historic center of Cassano delle Murge in Piazza Aldo Moro, built in 1858 on a project by the architect Mastropasqua da Giovinazzo and the company of two-toned Sannicandro brothers, rises on the ruins of an old Romanesque church of 1348 of which remains the bell tower. Consecrated in 1988, it has a facade oriented to the east and three naves.
