Via Garibaldi, probably the heart of the ancient village of Old Apice, a ghost town in Irpinia abandoned after the 1962 earthquake. The presence of shops and a stately palace along this street testifies to the commercial importance this center had before abandonment. Today Old Apice represents one of the most evocative places in Italy's ghost towns.
