The majestic Pantheon of Rome seen from the Della Porta fountain in Piazza della Rotonda. This Roman temple, built in 27 BC and rebuilt by Emperor Hadrian around 125 AD, represents one of the best-preserved monuments of antiquity. Its famous coffered dome with the central oculus remains a masterpiece of architectural engineering that still inspires today.
