The Schiessentumpel waterfall represents one of the most evocative scenarios of the Mullerthal region, known as Little Switzerland of Luxembourg. Water flows between moss-covered rocks forming a double waterfall that plunges into a pool of milky waters. An ancient stone bridge crosses the stream above the waterfall, while the autumn forest frames the scene with its bare trees shrouded in mist. The long photographic exposure transforms the water into a silky veil contrasting with the solidity of the rocks. This unspoiled corner is located along the Mullerthal Trail, one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Europe.
