Rails Used for Body Cremation at Belzec

A pile of rusted railway rails, symbol of the mass cremation operations at Belzec. These rails were used as grids to burn the bodies of victims when the Nazis attempted to destroy evidence of their crimes. The sculpture represents the industrial scale of the extermination.
