The monumental memorial of the Krakow-Plaszow concentration camp, erected in 1964 on the hill overlooking the former camp area. The stone sculpture represents five human figures with suffering faces, symbolizing the camp victims. The monument, approximately 9 meters tall, is accessible via a stone stairway climbing the grassy slope. Plaszow was a Nazi concentration camp operational from 1942 to 1945, infamously known for the brutality of its commander Amon Goth, whose story was told in Steven Spielberg's film Schindler's List.
