Wooden Barracks of Majdanek Camp

The row of dark wooden barracks at Majdanek camp along the main road. The buildings, numbered and constructed of time-darkened wood, housed thousands of prisoners in inhumane conditions. Majdanek was one of the few camps to preserve its original structures intact, direct testimony to Nazi horrors.
