Victims' Shoes Displayed at Majdanek

A long corridor flanked by thousands of shoes belonging to Majdanek victims, protected by metal mesh. Each shoe represents a life cut short. This moving display in the camp museum includes footwear of men, women and children, silent testimony to the scale of the extermination.
