Collection of orthopedic prostheses belonging to Auschwitz victims, displayed in the memorial museum. These medical aids were confiscated from disabled prisoners upon arrival. Many prosthesis wearers were immediately selected for the gas chambers as they were considered useless for forced labor by the Nazi regime.
