Spectacular aerial view of Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy) at sunset, the beating heart of Warsaw Old Town. At the center dominates the Column of Sigismund III Vasa, erected in 1644 and considered the oldest secular monument in the city, with the bronze statue of the king wielding a cross and a sword. The warm twilight lights illuminate the reconstructed facades of the historic buildings surrounding the square, while the street lamps begin to light up creating a magical atmosphere. This square, completely destroyed during World War II, was rebuilt with such precision as to earn UNESCO recognition as a symbol of the Polish people's will to be reborn.
