The picturesque Cobblers Bridge over the Ljubljanica River

Enchanting view of Cevljarski most (Cobblers Bridge), one of Ljubljana's most characteristic historic bridges designed by Joze Plecnik. The stone bridge with its columns topped by decorative lampposts is reflected in the green waters of the Ljubljanica River. Brightly colored houses - red, yellow, white - overlook the river creating a picturesque picture typical of Central Europe. Weeping willows with golden autumn leaves add romance to the scene, while in the background Ljubljana Castle can be glimpsed on the hill overlooking the city.
