With the evacuation order of the 27th april 1986, soviet authorities intimated cilivians to bring with themselves essentials goods. The evacuation was considered still a temporary measure. Later however, soviet authorities avoided to the inhabitants to come back to their homes: all they owned was lost forever, including children's toys.
