Il ponte Pegasus vicino la città di Ouistreham - Operazione Deadstick

La presa del ponte Pegasus avvenne in pochi minuti, dato che le truppe inglesi riuscirono a cogliere di sorpresa i tedeschi. Sul Pegasus Bridge vi fu il primo caduto alleato di tutto il D-Day, il tenente Dan Brotheridge.
