The fourth courtyard of Theresienstadt Small Fortress, one of the most terrible areas of the camp. Here prisoners lived in conditions of extreme overcrowding, with hundreds of people crammed into cells designed for a few dozen. The courtyard was surrounded by cells and constantly watched by guards on the walls.
