The grave of Jim Morrison, singer and poet of the Doors, who died in Paris on July 3, 1971 at just 27 years old. The simple stone tombstone is surrounded by flowers, candles, photographs, and small objects left by fans who visit this rock pilgrimage site every day. A photo of the singer with his intense gaze and curly hair dominates the composition. Morrison was buried at Pere-Lachaise five days after his death, in a private ceremony attended by only a few close friends. Today his grave is one of the most visited in the cemetery, along with those of Oscar Wilde and Edith Piaf.
