The snow-covered slope at Col Raiser features ski runs connecting the plateau with the village of Santa Cristina. The south-eastern orientation allows for the observation of the Sella and Sassolungo massifs, geological formations composed of Dolomite rock formed during the Triassic period. The geographical context is characterized by the presence of isolated Pinus cembra specimens and terrain shaped for winter sports. The site is part of the protected ecological network and documents the use of alpine land for recreational and tourism purposes within the territory of the autonomous province of Bolzano.
