A detail of Casa Amatller's facade shows the splendid Gothic tribune of the noble floor, one of the building's most elaborate elements. The structure features abundant carved decoration with floral motifs, fantastic figures, and heraldic coats of arms. Twisted columns support trefoil arches, while the triangular pediment is crowned by pinnacles and sculptures. The stained glass windows decorated with geometric patterns filter light inside. This tribune exemplifies Puig i Cadafalch's style, which blended medieval Catalan elements with Northern European influences. The light stone of the decoration contrasts with the colored ceramics of the rest of the facade.
