The image shows the famous artistic decoration of T-Centralen station, the heart of Stockholm's metro. The walls and ceiling of the rock cavern are decorated with blue murals on a white background, the work of artist Per Olof Ultvedt, depicting workers and scenes of everyday Swedish life. The elevators in the center of the composition, marked with the sign Hiss, provide access to different levels of the station. Stockholm's metro, known as Tunnelbana, is considered the world's longest art gallery: over 90 of its 100 stations are decorated by artists, transforming the daily commute into a unique cultural experience.
