The entrance to the fourth courtyard of Theresienstadt Small Fortress, one of the harshest sectors of the camp. Through this gateway passed prisoners destined for the overcrowded cells of the courtyard. The massive fortress architecture and narrow passage created a sense of oppression from the first moment.
