The night shot captures the Metropolis Building, one of the most recognizable architectural symbols of Madrid. Built in 1911 in Beaux-Arts style designed by French architects Jules and Raymond Fevrier, the building is distinguished by its dome topped by the winged statue of Victory. The long exposure transforms vehicle lights into luminous trails drawing curved trajectories around the roundabout. The night lighting enhances the details of the richly decorated facade, while in the background other historic buildings of the Gran Via can be recognized, the famous Madrid boulevard built in the early decades of the twentieth century.
