The church of San Lorenzo in Pamplona, guardian of the chapel dedicated to San Fermin patron of the city
The image shows the church of San Lorenzo, one of the most important religious buildings in Pamplona. The structure, combining elements from different periods, features a facade in light stone with an arcaded portico and an octagonal bell tower rising above the complex. To the right extends a brick building with geometric decorations in Mudejar style housing structures annexed to the church. In the foreground, a large well-maintained green lawn dotted with flower beds creates a pleasant public space. At the center of the garden stands a commemorative monument. A large Cedar of Lebanon dominates the scene with its majestic crown. The church houses inside the chapel of San Fermin, where the statue of the patron saint is kept, which every July 7th is carried in procession through the city streets.
